Hi, I’m Marco, owner and manager of Rent a Room “Al Centro Storico di Roma”. It is in a period building dating back to the early 20th century located in the centre in Via Merulana, situated between the Basilicas of St. John Lateran and St Mary Major, and the Colosseum, that can be reached by foot, through the green, historical Oppian Hill Park and Via Labicana.

Rent a Room “Al Centro Storico di Roma” is located in Via Merulana, 117 – 00185 Rome.
Via Merulana is situated in the historical centre of Rome between the Basilicas of St. John Lateran and St Mary Major and is behind Oppian Hill with its historical park that dominates the Domus Aurea, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, enchanting those fortunate enough to admire such wonders.

Thanks to its central location it is also well connected by buses and the Metro, Manzoni station (Line A) and Colosseo station (Line B) and is only 4 stops away from the central train station Termini.

Rent a Room “Al Centro Storico di Roma” is only a short 5 minute walk away from the Colosseum and once there you are surrounded by monuments and the historical squares that have made Rome the “Eternal City”.
